We are not dead!
Elders born between 1940 - 1945 are natural allies of the younger
generations driving the Change Movement. Neither Boomers nor Silents,
we came into the world between the last years of FDR and the first days of
the nuclear arms race.
Our values--honesty, loyalty, duty and honor--are rooted in the Silent
Generation. But our energy, sense of adventure and self-confidence are
clearly characteristics we adopted from our younger Boomer brothers and
sisters.
With the best genes from both mega-generations, there are thousands of
us healthy enough and greatly motivated to share our experience and skills
with young activists--our generational grandchildren--in order to help
change the world. For them, it's a matter of Life and for us, it is a matter of
Legacy.
